The Deerhurst Deacons organize the food pantry for those in need of canned or boxed non-perishable food. Please mark your donations with the date and put them into the designated cart in the back of the church. The Deacons will then organize them into the pantry. Arrangements for needy people to pick up the food may be made by phoning the church secretary.

The food pantry is presently low on pasta, pasta sauce, chili, canned hams/meat and canned fruit. The Deacons would appreciate any contributions to boost their supply.

If you have a grocery coupon which requires purchasing two items or a “buy one and get one free” sale, try to bring the extra to the church pantry!

Let’s all support those needy families!

All are invited to help in any way they are able. We need people to help decorate, plan and participate the week of this exciting event. This is a great way for us to let people know just how wonderful Deerhurst Presbyterian Church is. Please join us, even to do the smallest thing; you will not believe how rewarding this is to you as well as our children.

Mission Outreach

The Deerhurst Mission Team is in Ohio helping a family in need. Please pray for their safety while working and traveling, for their ability to work together, and for their ability to relate to the families they meet. Also pray for the Epworth Center staff for supporting their efforts and the family they are helping.

Searching For

Deerhurst Custodian

NO, he is not lost or missing! We need to hire a new custodian and we need YOUR HELP! Please spread the word, ask around and contact Al White if you have any suggestions.

Custodian Wanted–

· Position includes: 20 hours per five-day week including Saturday.

· Work includes basic indoor cleaning, occasionally setting up tables and chairs and very minor repairs.
